Sing the following tonal pattern on “she-ah”: do re mi fa sol sol sol sol sol fa me re do. At the end of the pattern, the teacher (or leader) performs a simple clapping, snapping, or stomping pattern. Continue the pattern by ascending by half-steps. At the end of the next pattern, the students (or group) repeats the previous clapping, snapping, or stomping pattern as performed by the teacher. As the group repeats the previous pattern, the teacher simultaneously performs a new pattern.
